Co-Pilot-Eraser

Annoyed by Copilot in Microsoft Edge? Already tried everything to remove it from the new tab and get your usual Google page back?

The solution: install Google Chrome or keep your familiar Edge browser and apply Co-Pilot-Eraser.

Use

  1. Unzip the package.
  2. Right-click CoPilotEraser.cmd.
  3. Select "Run as administrator".
  4. Choose "Apply fix".
  5. Restart Edge completely.
  6. Open edge://policy and click "Reload policies".

If "Apply fix" does not stick, choose "Install persistent repair guard". Microsoft Edge or related Microsoft components can write the value back like bloatware. The repair guard runs in the background and sets the new tab/start page value back to Google every minute.

Undo

Run CoPilotEraser.cmd as administrator and choose "Undo fix".

The tool removes only the browser configuration values it sets. It does not wipe your full Edge installation.
